Dr. Neel graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1993. He was in private practice in Santa Barbara for the last 20 years providing primary care optometry including contact lens fitting and treatment of ocular disease. He sold his practice in 2015 to spend more time with his family and now brings 25 years of experience to Thousand Oaks Family Optometry.
Dr. Henteleff did his undergraduate studies at UCLA and his optometry degree from UC Berkeley. He has been practicing since 1980 providing personalized, friendly, and unhurried eye care. He takes time to listen to the patient, explain tests and their results, and answers all your questions.
Dr. Kathryn Fallon, OD was born and raised in La Canada, CA. She wore glasses at a very young age and decided to become a Doctor of Optometry before it was common for women to do so. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. Dr. Fallon provides eye examinations for both children and adults; specializing in difficult contact lens fittings. She has been married to her husband, Vladan, who is also her karate master for 30 years. Her daughter, Tatiana, is also studying to be an Optometrist. Her son Devon just finished his five years service in the Marines Corps and works for Northrup Grumman. After 25 years in practice, she thoroughly enjoys seeing patients daily.
Sara Kaz, O.D. joined Thousand Oaks Family Optometry in 2014 as an Associate Optometrist. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Rosenberg School of Optometry as part of the inaugural class of 2013. Dr. Kaz completed her training at Edwards AFB, where she co-managed pilots undergoing refractive surgery.
Dr. Kaz offers comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, surgical co-management, and evaluation of ocular emergencies.
Dr. Kaz currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with her husband, kids, and dogs. When not seeing patients, she enjoys playing tennis and cooking new recipes.
Dr. Dikran Sarkis is a Southern California native from nearby Glendale, CA. He became interested in the visual system after his father experienced vision loss due to diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Sarkis graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2011. He completed externships with TLC Laser Eye Centers in La Jolla, California, and with Dr. Stern's Visual Health Centers in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Sarkis provides comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, with areas of emphasis in dry eye management, refractive surgery, and specialty contact lenses. Many of his satisfied patients refer their friends and family to Dr. Sarkis for his expertise, and friendly, caring demeanor.
Dr. Sarkis volunteers for OneSight, the American Diabetes Association, and provides school screenings for Glendale Healthy Kids. Dr. Sarkis is happily married to his wife Betty, and has 2 amazing boys John and Michael. When Dr. Sarkis is not seeing patients, he enjoys riding his motorcycles, playing golf, and maintaining his saltwater fish tank.
